Before I begin I’d like to let you know that I’m still restoring posts that were on my stellacaine.com blog. Have no fear. It’s a long process but it will be done. I had posts dating back from Janaury on the old one and seems a shame for so many interesting blog posts to disappear.

Sorry to the people who’ve written comments. They cannot be restored but feel free to pop new ones on here as and when.

Well onto the drama of the last few days *mopps brow in dramatic fashion*

I’d just had a long journey out of London to see family when I switched on my laptop to check mail before I went to bed only to find that I couldn’t get to my mail online. ‘Mmmm’, I thought, as you do.
I then checked the main URL only to discover a picture of some blonde woman staring back at me. As you know – I’m not blonde nor do I advertise shopping portals.

Something was quite a miss.

I went onto my hosts site and spoke to live help.

Stells: Please help. My site has been hacked – I think. *drama drama*
Live Help: Let me check on that ma’am.
Stells: O.k *heart beats ten to the dozen*
Live Help: Ma’am your domain name seems to be out of date. You need to renew it and all will be well.
Stells: Hey? I didn’t know. I should have got an email right? Oh wait I didn’t get it from you. I bought it separately from my hosting. Oh crap.
Live Help: Ma’am speak to your domain host and renew and it should go back to normal.
Stells: O.K *is about to cry*
Live Help: Is there anything else I can help you with Ma’am
Stells: No thank you *secretly wishes live help could give her a new brain*

Anyhooooooooooooooooooo I then went to the domain host and tried to log in. Failure of course because I could not remember my login details. I asked for a reminder and an email went through, but not to the email address that’s registered to stellacaine.com. Oh no, cuz that would have been too bloody simple. *rolls eyes*

Next port of call. A man called Sam from domain support. I won’t go into the details but surffice to say about five emails went back and forth between us over timezones and some considerable amount of time before he understood that my domain contact was in fact not the right contact they had down. He then moved my domain into another account which I knew the passwords for. But not until I’d decided screw it and set up sensual-massage-world.com (which in fact was bought and paid for and was running with a host but I’d not decided what to use it for). I had to of course still renew stellacaine.com because I needed to accesss mail etc.
The whole thing took about 24 hours to sort and and YES I did it again. I deleted the blog database by mistake. That’s the second time I’ve done that and it’s called ‘not checking which browser you have open and general fatigue’ I had both control panels open for stellacaine.com and this one and having set up a blog on this one and it not playing I thought to delete it and start again, only to delete the one on stellacaine.com.
I can’t call myself a geek when I do stupid stuff like that.

Luckily archives of my blogs are all over the net. Including the pictures on most of the posts. It’s all o.k. It’s just going to take time to restore.

It all sounds very frantic doesn’t it? I really had no idea my domain was up for renewal. I’m so busy that unless I get an email I don’t know these things. Obviously mail was sent about it but to the wrong address.

*breaths*

I was thinking…. 24 hours ago I was laying on the bed with someones penis between my feet. It sounds gruesome but I assure you it was very nice.  I was massaging with my feet. I don’t do it often but I probably should. I like the feeling of it – he seemed to like it too. *ponders*

Lara helped me move the deseased plant from the lounge. I named it the Juju plant on account of the fact that according to Feng Shui you shouldn’t have a dead plant in the house. The Juju plant is now outside – banished forever more. Those who remember it – it was the big palm type tree in the corner with the leaves that looked like they were covered in white fur – of course they shouldn’t have looked like that. I don’t know what was wrong with it and my trustee flourist didn’t have a clue either but it was decided it was dead/dying. It had to go.

Good energy is restored and the fish bowl is back up working (since it had been decomisioned due to Dirty Harry’s (the black moore) death and stocked with some beautiful fish.

They are called Max & Paddy, Ziggy Stardust and Ozzy Osbourne.  Lara chose Max and Ozzy – good choices.
